The Seniors4Change project is making great strides with Work Package 3 (WP3), focused on creating a Training Manual for seniors! This manual, now finalised in all partner languages, includes five units covering climate change, DIY skills, videography, social media, and entrepreneurship. The content is designed to help seniors improve their digital literacy while promoting sustainable practices. Currently, all partners are testing the manual with seniors and adult educators, gathering valuable feedback to refine the content. Want to know what the next steps are? Find out below!

We are thrilled to share exciting updates on the progress of the Seniors4Change project, specifically focusing on Work Package 3 (WP3): Training Manual Development. This work package has been crucial in achieving our overarching goal of empowering seniors with essential digital and sustainability skills, all while harnessing the power of DIY culture.

Key Achievements

Finalisation of the Training Manual: After months of collaboration, we are proud to announce that the comprehensive training manual is now available in all partner languages! The manual consists of five engaging units covering a wide range of topics, from climate change and DIY projects to videography, social media skills, and even entrepreneurship. The training manual is designed to be flexible, so each unit can be used independently, offering seniors the ability to tailor their learning journey.

Testing with Seniors and Educators: Each partner is currently in the process of testing the manual with our target group—seniors—as well as adult educators. This hands-on testing phase ensures that the content resonates with the learners and meets their needs effectively. Feedback gathered will help refine the materials, ensuring high-quality results that are both practical and inspiring.

What’s Next: We are eagerly looking forward to the next phase, where seniors who are testing the manual will have the opportunity to participate in the upcoming LTTA in Athens. Selected participants will receive in-person training on videography and social media presence, learning how to capture and share their DIY projects using modern digital platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. It’s a fantastic opportunity to not only boost their digital skills but also bring their creativity to a global audience.

Stay tuned as we continue this incredible journey, and we can’t wait to see the impact these seniors will make as they share their knowledge and sustainable practices with the world!
