During the ‘Semaine Bleue’ (Blue Week), the name given to the week devoted in France to senior citizens, their needs, concerns and requests for information and activities (30 September - 6 October 2024), E-Seniors organised a major discussion on these subjects.
A wide range of participants (senior citizens, representatives of associations working with senior citizens or in the field of intergenerational relations, local authority officials, etc.) had the opportunity to reflect together on the actions already being taken in Paris to address these issues.
E-Seniors also fuelled the discussions by presenting a number of good practices carried out as part of its European activities. The results of the Seniors4Change project, i.e. its Guide to Sustainable DIY Practices in 5 European countries (WP2), the results of focus groups carried out in Austria, Bulgaria, France, Greece and Portugal, and the first stages in the creation of our Training Manual (WP3), were presented to the assembly.
The presentation was followed by a debate with all the participants on the importance of DIY in their lives, and on their sustainable practices in their daily lives.
